This is for the memory of a great woman who persevered through many of life challenges. At the age of 61, she was the oldest graduate of the 2001 Indiana University Purdue University Graduation Class at Indianapolis, Indiana which taught us to never give up on your dreams.
In honor of her memory, we have established the VETREA MAE DAVIDSON SLACK SCHOLARSHIP FUND, this Fund awards scholarships ranging from $500 to $2,000.
There are two categories for Scholarshp Recipients:
1. Adults age 50 and over returning to school full-time
2. Graduating H.S. Seniors with a GPA between 2.0 and 3.0
